Third Trimester Pregnancy - The Final Phase Of The Pregnancy Period

The third trimester pregnancy is the final phase of the pregnancy culminating in the birth of the baby. The baby does a lot of growing during these last few months. The mother-to-be also experiences a lot of changes in her body. There is considerable swelling in the hands and feet in the seventh month. You may even experience leg cramps due to the growing demands of the baby on extra calcium, vitamins and minerals. Heartburn, indigestion, shortness of breath, tiredness, sleep trouble become apparent in the eighth month of pregnancy as the baby grows to almost four pounds and sixteen inches in length. These symptoms can be mitigated by change in relaxation and dietary habits. In the final month of the third trimester pregnancy, the baby's head will drop in the pelvic area, to get ready for delivery. You feel a surge of energy at this stage, easy breathing and more frequent urge to urinate. Your anxiety level and sacredness rises considerably. All these feelings are perfectly normal before the delivery. Enjoy every minute of your pregnancy with good health and happiness.
